Scott RoyceGazebo Restaurant at Waupoos Estates
Scott Royce heads the Culinary team at the Gazebo Restaurant at Waupoos Winery. A graduate of culinary arts at George Brown College, Scott furthered his food knowledge working in Toronto at the esteemed Auberge du Pommier.
In the spring of 2006, Scott made the move to Prince Edward County. With the growing surge of fine dining happening in the County, he had no trouble securing a position at Harvest Restaurant. While there he received the prestigious Top 30 under 30 award for his culinary prowess.
After four seasons at Harvest, Scott left as the Chef de Cuisine to pursue a career in teaching Culinary Arts at Loyalist College. Having the summer season off, Scott felt the urge to be in the kitchen, cooking. In the spring of 2010, he took on the position as Head Chef at Waupoos Winery. This allows him to keep his Culinary skills honed in the restaurant environment and still fulfill his dream of teaching.
